Github update to RSA SSH host keys

As of yesterday, github.com updated the RSA keys which broke access to the their servers when cloning or fetching from their repositories.

A weird Warning message like this one will instead be the output to those commands.

To fix it, follow the instructions oulined in this Github Blog Post. that will show how to update the known_hosts file to fix it.

IT job market impacted by recession, speculation and post-pandemic rules

After surviving a few layoff scenarios, it becomes evident the job market was impacted in a hard way by many events.

The speculation coming from different sources:

  • Rising interest rates moving investors away
  • Ukraine / Russia dispute impacts on economics and commodity markets.
  • Aging diversity in the post-pandemic times.
  • Globalization of the (remote) workforce.

That results on longer times for professional collocation.
Persevere and succeed!

Code from anywhere…

The number of remote positions for coders and other IT development roles is rising fast as the number of companies and new enterprises to adopt it.

I am very happy to work for a company, e-Core that supports this kind of work relationship, somehow.

But now that is not the case.

Right now I am enjoying my vacationing time in Recife, Brazil, almost 2K miles away from Porto Alegre, that’s were I currently live and work for e-Core.

Tropical weather, always breezing and about half a block from the sea, but also once bored (hard though…)  I get back to my personal coding projects (some investigations and some apps currently being developed).

To allow that my stack includes hangouts, github, Atlassian bitbucket, heroku, digitalocean, codio and a handful of online tools.
